Matron for Emergency Medicine and Integrated Care

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Matron to lead our Emergency Medicine and Integrated Care team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Matron, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise to our nursing and midwifery staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise to nursing and midwifery staff in Emergency Medicine and Integrated Care.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and experience in Emergency Medicine and Integrated Care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and patient flow.
- Lead and manage a team of nursing and midwifery staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing and midwifery policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits to ensure high standards of patient care.
Requirements:
- Registered Adult Nurse with significant experience in Emergency Medicine and Integrated Care.
- Operational management experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge, with the ability to provide expert advice and guidance.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
