We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director, Alternative Investment Funds. As a key member of our Alternative Investments team, you will play a critical role in expanding our capabilities and expertise in alternative investments.
Key Responsibilities:- Represent the Head of Alternative Investments in their absence, ensuring seamless continuity of our operations.
- Act as a liaison between our Scope Fund Analysis team and clients, fostering strong relationships and communication.
- Enhance our analytical capabilities by developing and implementing new methodologies and tools.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative fund aspects, including structural risks, operational risks, legal and regulatory aspects.
- Monitor existing ratings and recommend reviews and changes as necessary, ensuring timely and accurate assessments.
- Create and manage peer groups, facilitating informed investment decisions.
- Conduct discussions with clients, investors, and asset managers, delivering high-quality presentations, explanations, and briefings.
- Travel and demonstrate flexibility in accepting tasks and duties, as required.
- Collaborate with team members, staff, and management to coordinate workload and ensure efficient operations.
- Produce high-quality research and analytical comments, meeting deadlines and delivering insightful results.
- Share knowledge with colleagues, informing them of new topics and best practices.
- Provide guidance to junior analysts, supporting their development and growth.
- At least 5 years of experience in the financial industry, with a strong understanding of alternative investments, private equity, and debt sectors.
- Extensive knowledge of private markets, including private equity, private debt, infrastructure, and real estate.
- Entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to take responsibility.
- Independent thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative and versatile personality, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience in research writing and strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and motivate others to do the same.
