Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aftersales Service Engineer to join our team at Finning (UK) Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of their equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine servicing and maintenance of heavy mobile plant equipment, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Conduct thorough machine inspections to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Complete minor repairs and installations, ensuring all work is done to the highest standard.
  • Liaise with customers and service controllers to ensure seamless communication and timely completion of tasks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in engineering, preferably with experience in heavy mobile plant maintenance or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A basic knowledge of engines, hydraulics, powertrain, and vehicle electrics/electronics.
  • A valid full driving license and ability to work in a field-based environment.
