Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aftersales Service Technician to join our team at Thegradcafe. As a Preventative Maintenance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy mobile plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine servicing and maintenance on heavy mobile plant equipment, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Conduct thorough machine inspections to identify potential issues and develop corrective action plans.
  • Carry out minor repairs and replacements as needed, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a related engineering function, such as car mechanics, HGV fitting, or military vehicle maintenance.
  • Formal training in health and safety, or willingness to undergo further training.
  • Basic knowledge of engines, hydraulics, powertrain, and vehicle electrics/electronics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
