About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our cleaning team at Sanctuary Care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our residents live in a clean, safe, and pleasant environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of Housekeeping Assistants to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the home.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources and effective cleaning practices.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of cleaning services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, infection control procedures, and other relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a dementia residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Knowledge of infection control and health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • NVQ / QCF Level 2 qualified in Catering and in Housekeeping or equivalent knowledge and experience.
