About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our cleaning team at Sanctuary Care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our residents live in a clean, safe, and pleasant environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of Housekeeping Assistants to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules to ensure that all areas of the home are cleaned to a high standard.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of cleaning services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that cleaning services meet the needs of residents and staff.
  • Provide training and support to Housekeeping Assistants to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of providing housekeeping services in a residential setting, preferably in a dementia care environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of infection control and cleaning procedures.
  • NVQ / QCF Level 2 qualification in Catering and Housekeeping, or equivalent.
