To qualify for the role of Special Educational Needs Support Assistant, you should ideally possess:

  • Experience in a primary or secondary educational environment
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 preferred but not mandatory)
  • Recent classroom experience
  • A commitment to enhancing educational standards and serving as a positive role model
