Your Role: As a Support Assistant for Special Educational Needs, you will engage with students aged 5 to 19, alongside educators and therapists, to formulate tailored support strategies. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing personalized learning plans to address individual student needs.
  • Facilitating a safe and conducive learning environment by employing de-escalation techniques during challenging situations.
  • Assisting educators in crafting and delivering engaging lessons that cater to various learning styles and abilities.
  • Providing both one-on-one and group support to students with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications: The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A Level 3 qualification or a minimum of six months' experience in an educational setting.

  • Experience in providing educational support on both an individual and small group basis.
