Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Learning Support Specialist to join our team at Future Education. As a Behaviour Learning Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping young people aged 5 to 18 achieve their full potential, both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEMH needs
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students in managing their behaviour and emotions
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students
  • Participate in school activities and events

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people, ideally within an SEMH setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting young people
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students
  • Relevant qualifications in education or support work are desirable but not essential
