Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will provide support to students with challenging behaviours in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement behaviour management strategies as directed by the SENCO
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Support the class teacher in maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Monitor and record student progress and behaviour throughout the day
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals regarding student progress
Requirements
  • GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of behaviour management strategies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
Working Conditions

This role involves working in a school environment, supporting students with challenging behaviours. The hours are full-time, and the position is temporary.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please note that this is a temporary position, and the option to make it permanent may become available at a later date.
