We are seeking a skilled Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will provide support to students with challenging behaviours in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities- Implement behaviour management strategies as directed by the SENCO
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Support the class teacher in maintaining a positive learning environment
- Monitor and record student progress and behaviour throughout the day
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals regarding student progress
- GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
- Knowledge of behaviour management strategies
- Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
This role involves working in a school environment, supporting students with challenging behaviours. The hours are full-time, and the position is temporary.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please note that this is a temporary position, and the option to make it permanent may become available at a later date.
