We are seeking an experienced Composite Design Engineer to join our team at Owen Daniels, a leading Aerospace manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the design and certification of composite structures or products within a highly regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design aerospace composite and hybrid structures using 3D CAD software.
  • Work as part of an integrated project team to ensure customers' requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement composite design methodologies and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design reports and presentations.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education to degree/HND level in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
  • Demonstration of competence in the design of fibre reinforced composite materials.
  • Familiarity with aerospace or similar industry composite design methodologies and best practice.
  • Proficient in the use of CAD systems.
  • Good communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
