Human Factors Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Human Factors Engineer to join our team at Advanced Resource Managers. As a key member of our Defence and Aerospace team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the development of technologies that optimize the human-machine relationship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Human Factors Integration through the development lifecycle, providing progressive assurance to our customers.
  • Analyze and assess the role of the operator within the weapon system, considering weapon system planning, command and control.
  • Conduct User Experiments and Trials, supporting system conception, development, and verification, taking into account operator workload and situational awareness.
  • Apply physical ergonomics and use of CAD software such as Jack or RAMSIS.
  • Collaborate with our team to define and verify Human Factors requirements, ensuring seamless integration with Systems Engineering and other disciplines.

Requirements:

  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (CIEHF).
  • Application of Human Factors Integration & Human Factors Engineering in a Defence context.
  • Strong understanding of Systems Engineering and disciplines that interact with Human Factors, including Supportability, Training, and Systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and DOORS.
