About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Handler to join our team at WTW. As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing an allocation of low-value claims, ensuring that they are handled efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Claims Management: Manage an allocation of low-value claims, ensuring that they are handled in accordance with WTW's financial processes and procedures.
  • Insurance Industry Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the Insurance Industry and claims handling processes.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with the team to monitor key client outcomes and take appropriate action as required to deliver pre-defined service standards.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all aspects of WTW's financial processes and adhere to the reserving process within given authority.
  • Client Queries: Deal with day-to-day client queries competently and in line with WTW's values.
  • Audit and Compliance: Understand and comply with the audit process and ensure that all claims handling activities are conducted in accordance with WTW's policies and procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support and contribute to the Continuous Improvement Forum to drive process improvements and enhance the overall claims handling experience.
Requirements
  • Education: A minimum of GCSEs in Maths and English at Level 4 and above.
  • Experience: Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide a high level of service to clients.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities and flexibility to work in a performance-driven environment managing multiple deliverables.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong experience with applicant tracking systems.
