We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Operations Clerk. This exciting new role will be based in our Slough office and will involve working closely with our busy client to ensure the smooth operation of their logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently enter data into our systems, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Job Booking: Book jobs from start to finish, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Import/Export Management: Arrange import and export shipments from start to finish, including arranging collections and deliveries across the UK and worldwide.
  • Customs Declarations: Complete export/import declarations on Sequoria (CDS) and raise/export AWB's as required.
  • Rate Sourcing: Source rates and quote clients for imports and exports.
  • Warehouse Management: Use our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to organize pick and pack orders and manage warehouse involvement.
  • General Queries: Deal with general queries from clients, customs, deliveries, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous import/export experience of 1-3 years is preferred.
  • IT Skills: Good IT skills are essential for this role.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail is required to ensure accurate data entry and efficient job booking.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels is essential.
