Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to join our team at the University System of NH. As a key member of our Counseling Center, you will provide essential support services to students, faculty, and staff, promoting a safe and inclusive campus environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Counseling Services: Offer individual and group counseling sessions to students, addressing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
  • Outreach and Support: Develop and implement outreach programs to promote mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and encourage help-seeking behaviors among students.
  • Collaboration and Consultation: Work closely with faculty, staff, and other campus partners to provide consultation services, support academic success, and promote a healthy campus community.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree: A Master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a mental health professional in NH or eligibility for licensure is necessary.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of full-time licensed counseling experience in a mental health agency or counseling center is required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, experience with Titanium, CCAPS, and time management software, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
