Spire Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Radiographer to join our team as a Radiology Deputy Manager at our state-of-the-art facility.

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to lead and inspire a talented radiology team, contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Your Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Department and Director of Clinical Services to ensure smooth operations and achieve departmental goals.
  • Champion a positive and supportive work environment for the radiology team, fostering growth and development through mentorship and feedback.
  • Play a key role in resource allocation, performance management, and policy implementation within the department.
  • Maintain accurate staffing levels to meet patient needs and ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Promote a culture of safety and well-being, adhering to strict regulatory guidelines such as IRR and IRMER.
  • Develop strong relationships with Consultant Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless collaboration.
  • Take ownership of clinical governance and audit processes within the department, ensuring high standards of care.
  • Contribute to clinical duties as required and participate in the on-call rota.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • Significant post-qualification experience as a Senior Radiographer or Team Leader.
  • Proven leadership skills, including team supervision and mentoring experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with RIS/PACS and IEP system management.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development (CPD).
  • In-depth knowledge of IRR and IRMER legislation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
