Head of Radiology Department

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiography Professional to lead our Radiology Department at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. As the Head of Radiology Department, you will be responsible for the professional leadership and management of our radiography team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the radiography team in the delivery of high-quality imaging services
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes
- Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Manage and develop the radiography team, including recruitment, training, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards
- State registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Significant experience in radiography leadership and management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
