Radiology Department Head

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Department Head to lead our team of radiographers, sonographers, and clinical technologists. The successful candidate will be responsible for the professional leadership and management of the radiography workforce, ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the radiography team to deliver high-quality imaging services
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and patient outcomes
- Manage the radiography budget and resources
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality standards

Leeds Teaching Hospitals is a leading teaching hospital in Europe, providing specialist treatment, biomedical research, and local hospital services to the Leeds community. Our Radiology Clinical Service Unit delivers a diagnostic and treatment imaging service to over 600,000 patients annually.
Requirements:
- BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
- Specialised clinical training to Masters level or evidence of practical application of expertise at this level
- Post-graduate qualification in a leadership/management programme/study or evidence of practical application of expertise at this level
- Significant experience of middle/senior management level in a complex organisation
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
