**Job Summary**

Freightserve is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative / Driver to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of goods to our clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Driving Operations:**
    • Collection and delivery of goods using a small van
    • Occasional long-distance driving using a small van
  • **Warehouse Operations:**
    • Manual handling of goods, including loading and unloading of vehicles
    • Goods booking in and out
    • Check weighing of freight and noting dimensions
    • Cargo labeling
    • Dangerous goods awareness
    • Damage reports
    • Cargo manifesting
    • Manual bond checks
    • Daily vehicle and forklift checks/log book
  • **Administrative Tasks:**
    • Picking and packing
    • Documentation checks
    • Ad-hoc administrative duties

**Requirements:**

  • Standard UK driving license
  • Counterbalance forklift license (training provided)
  • Basic MS Office skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

**Working Hours:**

Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30
