Job Summary:
Spectrum Society for Community Living is seeking a caring and compassionate individual to join our team as an Overnight Support Worker. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the life of a man who requires support and assistance during the night.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overnight support and assistance to the individual, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Assist with medication administration and complete documentation as required.
- Communicate effectively with the individual's family and other support staff to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of care plans.
- Work effectively as a team member to provide a safe and supportive environment for the individual.
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with complex behaviors and acquired brain injuries.
- Excellent observational skills and ability to think critically.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Computer proficiency and ability to use software applications.
Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position, working Sunday to Thursday, 10:30pm to 8:30am. The successful candidate will be required to work a rotating shift schedule.
