About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Turning Point. As a key member of our Substance Use Treatment Service, you will play a vital role in providing support to individuals with dual diagnosis needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement bespoke support plans for clients with dual diagnosis needs
  • Work closely with our Principal Practitioner Psychologist to provide comprehensive care packages
  • Collaborate with mental health services to ensure clients receive necessary support
  • Line manage staff and provide clinical supervision
  • Participate in audits, MDT reviews, and CPA processes
Requirements
  • Doctorate in Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychology or RMN or CQSW/DipSW or Occupational Therapist
  • Experience of working with individuals with dual diagnosis needs
  • Knowledge of recovery models and approaches
  • Ability to assess and manage risks related to mental health difficulties and substance consumption
  • Experience of line managing staff
