Opportunity Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Custody Support Worker to be part of our Interventions Alliance team.

Role Responsibilities: In this position, you will manage a caseload of individuals within a correctional environment, initiating engagement and assessment processes.

Your role will involve providing motivational guidance and support to ensure participants remain engaged throughout their time in the system. You will conduct both group sessions and individual interventions aimed at helping participants overcome barriers and successfully reintegrate into their communities.

Key Duties Include:

  • Meeting individual performance objectives and contributing to team goals in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Collaborating closely with volunteer mentors to effectively manage your caseload and connect participants with essential resources, including housing and health services.
  • Fostering a learning environment that encourages skill development and the sharing of best practices among colleagues.
  • Ensuring effective case management and risk coordination, with a strong emphasis on safeguarding vulnerable individuals.
  • Meeting all contractual performance targets.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in managing a caseload is preferred.
  • Knowledge of electronic data management and maintaining accurate information systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Capability to motivate and sustain participant engagement.
