Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Custody Support Worker to become an integral part of our CFO Evolution Team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of individuals within a correctional environment, initiating engagement and assessment processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide motivational support and guidance to participants, ensuring their engagement throughout their correctional journey.
  • Facilitate both group and individual interventions aimed at overcoming barriers and promoting successful reintegration into society.
  • Assist in pre-release planning to ensure a smooth transition back into the community.
  • Collaborate closely with volunteer mentors and other support staff to effectively manage caseloads and connect participants with essential resources.
  • Contribute to a positive learning environment by sharing best practices and supporting the professional development of colleagues.
  • Ensure effective case management with a focus on safeguarding vulnerable individuals, promptly reporting any concerns to the appropriate authorities.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in probation, social care, or the criminal justice sector is preferred.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
  • Proficient in electronic data management and maintaining accurate records.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with individuals from various backgrounds.
  • Proven ability to motivate and sustain participant engagement.

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary ranging from £24,650 to £29,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
  • 25 days of annual leave plus Bank Holidays and a Birthday Day off.
