Job Title: Deputy Children's Home Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Children's Home Manager to join our team at CV-Library. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Manager in the implementation of all young people's placements, including their development, monitoring, and review.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring compliance with the Care Standards Act.
  2. Provide support to young people with life skills and education, promoting their emotional and mental well-being.
  3. Protect young people from risks to their health, welfare, and development, both within and outside the home.
  4. Ensure safeguarding is always a top priority.
  5. Participate in the on-call rota when necessary.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum Level 3 in Children & Young People.
  2. Minimum of 4 years' experience within the children's residential home sector.
  3. Minimum of 2 years' children's home senior experience.
  4. Experience of working with complex and emotional behavioural needs in young people.
  5. Understanding of the current Ofsted inspection framework.
  6. Knowledge of current governing legislation and procedures for caring for children.
