We are looking for a dedicated individual to provide essential support and companionship to a young autistic woman. This role is crucial in ensuring her safety and enhancing her social interactions.

Role Purpose

The primary aim of this position is to offer social assistance and ensure a secure environment for a young autistic woman.

Location

Position based in Sutton, NR12.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a friendly and approachable personal assistant who can engage with my daughter during times when I am unavailable due to work obligations. She is a lively 22-year-old with a passion for crafts and drawing. Due to her autism, she requires someone who can monitor her activities and ensure her safety without the need for personal care.

Terms and Conditions

  • Hourly rate: £11.68
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7-8 am and 4-6 pm, with potential for additional hours
  • Annual leave: 5.6 weeks per year pro-rata, including bank holidays
  • Free training provided: Health and Safety, GDPR (confidentiality), and Autism Awareness

Requirements

  • Successful completion of an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, funded by the employer
  • Completion of a satisfactory 6-month probationary period
