Group Finance Director Position

About the Role:

SF Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Financial Officer to join a private equity-backed multi-site services business in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial performance of all trading businesses and will sit at Group level, closely working with the CEO and Board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial strategy and planning for the group, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Oversee the financial performance of all trading businesses, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the CEO, Board, and investors
  • Manage the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial reporting and analysis
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar leadership role, with a strong track record of financial management and leadership
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering results
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a professional accounting certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA)
