The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Practitioner to join our team in the Airdrie and Coatbridge area. As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with daily living tasks, including support to appointments, shopping, meal planning, cooking, housework, finances, medication, and personal care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, promoting independence and dignity
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and cook meals, ensuring a healthy and balanced diet
  • Manage finances, including budgeting and bill paying
  • Accompany individuals to appointments and activities
  • Provide emotional support and companionship

Requirements

  • Driver with a full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to cook
  • Confidence in the use of computers
