Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Security Operations Coordinator to join our team in Esher, Surrey. As a key member of our Global Security Operations Centre, you will play a critical role in supporting our Regional Security Manager in delivering high-quality operational security services.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in security operations, crisis management, and logistics planning, with a focus on the Africa region. They will be responsible for supporting the security desk, handling security advice, and providing assistance to travellers, expatriates, and corporate security/risk managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the security desk and provide security advice to clients
  • Work closely with the security operations team to respond to security incidents across all regions
  • Provide 'Active Monitoring' services to clients affected by major security incidents
  • Assist with coordinating operations during escalated situations, evacuations, and security operations
  • Collaborate with our team of Global Intelligence Analysts to contribute to Africa-related operational advice and risk intelligence output

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of security operations, crisis management, and logistics planning
  • Experience working in an international context, preferably in the Africa region
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, with a second regional language an advantage
