We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Forensic Psychologist to lead our brand-new 24/7 Therapeutic Community (TC) at Serco Plc. As a pioneer in rehabilitative justice, you will drive forward our commitment to transformative rehabilitation.

With the introduction of the new TC, a new psychologically-led unit working to enabling environment principles, and the use of EMDR and schema therapy, you will discover a wide range of interesting opportunities to enhance your experience and enrich your career.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Chartered status with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registration as a Forensic Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  2. Extensive experience in secure settings and working with offenders with complex needs
  3. Strong skills in clinical formulation, risk assessment, and therapeutic interventions
  4. Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and manage and inspire staff
  5. Expertise in report writing and presenting evidence in formal settings
  6. Up-to-date knowledge of forensic psychology research, especially in offender rehabilitation and therapeutic communities
Desirable Qualifications:
  1. Registration with the Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors (RAAPS) with the BPS
  2. Group Psychotherapy training and/or experience
  3. Experience with administering and interpreting psychological assessments like PCL-R, IPDE

We offer a competitive salary of up to £61,000 per annum, 25 days of annual leave, and a contributory pension scheme.
