Main DutiesThe roles will involve:
- Providing direct clinical work, consultation, teaching, and staff support
- Completing specialist assessments and developing complex formulations
- Designing and delivering individualized therapeutic interventions
- Facilitating therapeutic groups and engaging in complex systemic work
- Participating in service development projects
AWP (Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust) is a diverse organisation with over 5,000 dedicated staff providing inpatient and community-based mental health care. We provide services to approximately 1 million people living in Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Swindon, and parts of Dorset.
Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have:
- A Doctorate in clinical, counselling, or forensic psychology or a competency-based qualification equivalent
- Registration with the HCPC or eligibility to be registered by employment start date
- Experience of working with complex mental health problems
- Interest in working in a forensic setting
- Excellent psychological/clinical assessment and intervention skills
- Strong team working and communication skills
