About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Homecare Team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Homecare Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality pharmacy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Specialist Homecare Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services to patients receiving homecare treatments. This will involve working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive the right medicines, in the right form, at the right time.

You will also be responsible for developing and implementing pharmacy homecare services, including the development of new service programs and specifications. Additionally, you will work with our Lead Clinical Pharmacists and other pharmacy staff to identify, plan, and develop new opportunities for homecare services.

Person Specification

We are looking for a pharmacist with a broad spectrum of clinical pharmacy training and experience. You will need to be a registered member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and have completed Foundation Stage 1 of PG General Practice Pharmacy. A postgraduate diploma in General Practice Pharmacy and training as a Practice Supervisor or Educational Supervisor would be desirable.
