Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Homecare Team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Homecare Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in delivering medicines to over 5000 patients in various specialties.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities include providing pharmacy homecare service and clinical pharmacy service in accordance with Trust procedures and priorities set by the Advanced Level Pharmacist-Homecare. You will also apply clinical and governance arrangements as set out in the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) standards and recommendations in the Hackett Report for Homecare services.
About Us
Our team is based in Kent and Canterbury Hospital, working closely together to offer clinical support services to each hospital within the trust. As a member of our team, you will be an intermediary between the clinical team and the Homecare company, ensuring the right drug, in the right form, is ordered and delivered at the right time to the patient.
Requirements
- Registered member of GPhC
- Completion of Foundation stage 1 of PG General Practice Pharmacy
- Demonstrable knowledge gained through broad spectrum of clinical pharmacy training and experience
