Job Summary:

Aquent is seeking an experienced Lifecycle Marketing Strategist to join our fintech client's dynamic UK Accountant Marketing Team. This role is crucial in driving customer growth and retention within the accountant practices and bookkeepers sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Growth Strategy: Partner with the UK marketing lead and sales team to devise and develop a growth strategy grounded in customer insights, aligning with our business goals.
  • Account-Based Marketing: Create and implement an account-based marketing strategy and plan, targeting both large firms and small practices/bookkeepers to achieve commercial success.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Drive marketing campaigns that highlight the value of our products to our accountant base, including product education, launch roll-outs, promotional offers, and advocacy activations.
  • Program Management: Manage the company's Proadvisor Programme initiatives across the UK.
  • Marketing Asset Creation: Oversee the end-to-end process of marketing asset creation, from ideation to delivery, collaborating with internal and agency partners.
  • Lifecycle Communications: Draft and manage a variety of lifecycle communications, track results, and leverage insights to refine future communications.
  • Webinars: Organize and execute webinars using Go To Webinar, including recruitment campaigns, lead management, and tracking attendance, conversion rates, and customer feedback.
  • Customer Insights: Conduct customer interviews and competitor analysis regularly, sharing insights with relevant teams.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing teams including events, PR, product marketing, and acquisition to align our communications calendar with compelling content.
  • Customer Case Studies: Work closely with social and sales teams to develop customer case studies.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record in driving lifecycle marketing initiatives and account-based marketing campaigns within a B2B context.
  • Channel Expertise: Proficiency across various channels and formats, such as email marketing, webinars, video, case studies, product demos, social media, events, and sales enablement.
  • Content Creation: Experience in content creation and management, including drafting copy and managing agency collaborations.
  • Partnership Skills: Strong partnership skills with sales teams to achieve ambitious performance goals.
  • CRM and Marketing Automation: Expertise in CRM systems (especially Salesforce) and marketing automation tools like Eloqua, HubSpot, Pardot, or Marketo.
  • Webinar Management: Experience managing webinars using platforms like Go To Webinar.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams (e.g., events, sales, product, customer success, analytics, martech).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to foster collaboration and inspire teams, with a knack for sharing learnings across global markets.
  • Adaptability: Adaptable and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment, employing a rapid test-and-learn approach to build experiments and drive results.
  • Background: Background in software/tech is desirable; experience with accountants and bookkeepers is a plus.
