Job Summary:

The Window Systems Division is seeking a highly skilled and motivated ICT Applications Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our ICT team, you will provide support and administration to key business systems, ensuring seamless operations and efficient delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st line support for ICT systems, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Coordinate 2nd line support with third-party vendors, ensuring timely resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Manage third-party support contracts, monitoring service level agreements and ensuring optimal performance.
  • Develop and promote the use of business systems within the organization, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
  • Design and implement data reports using System Report Writing Tools and SSRS, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Deliver user training and support, ensuring effective adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Project manage system enhancements, ensuring successful implementation and minimal disruption to business operations.

  • Time & Attendance System
  • Group VAT Reporting

Service Delivery:

  • Support the ICT Helpdesk function, ensuring user requests are resolved to agreed service levels.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of Helpdesk requests, identifying opportunities to reduce the volume of Helpdesk requests.
  • Ensure safe, healthy, and environmentally aware working practices at all times.
  • Identify and mitigate potential information security risks, prioritizing the protection of company data.
  • Provide hardware and software support for general Helpdesk calls.

Requirements:

  • Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering BSc
  • Microsoft Business Central ERP support and administration
  • SQL Server administration
  • Experience of Manufacturing, Sales & Distribution operations
  • MS Office 365 Office Apps, Outlook, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive
  • Cyber security awareness
  • Project Management
  • User training
  • Creating technical documentation
  • Experience of Process/Change management
  • Full Driving License
