Position: Junior ICT Applications Specialist

Location: Telford

Reporting To: Head of ICT

Working Hours: 08:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Junior ICT Applications Specialist to join our team, contributing to the support and management of business systems within the Window Systems Division. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless daily operations and assist in the strategic planning of ICT initiatives. Additionally, you will play a vital role in upholding cybersecurity protocols and enhancing the effective utilization of ICT resources.

Core Responsibilities:

General Duties:

  • Compliance with organizational policies and procedures
  • Building positive working relationships
  • Upholding the organization’s reputation
  • Advocating for Epwin Core Values

Technical Duties:

  • Administration of systems and development of solutions
  • Providing first-line support
  • Overseeing third-party support agreements
  • Generating data reports
  • Conducting user training sessions
  • Managing projects

Systems Management:

  • ERP Business System & Warehouse Management System
  • Time & Attendance System
  • Group VAT Reporting

Service Delivery Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the ICT Helpdesk operations
  • Identifying ways to minimize Helpdesk inquiries
  • Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment
  • Addressing information security challenges
  • Providing hardware/software support

Additional Responsibilities:

Working collaboratively with local site managers and teams.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central ERP support and administration
  • Familiarity with SQL Server administration
  • Background in Manufacturing, Sales & Distribution
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 applications
  • Awareness of cybersecurity practices
  • Project management capabilities
  • Experience in user training
  • Ability to create technical documentation
  • Change management experience
  • Possession of a Full Driving License
