About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Account Manager to join our team at Owen Daniels. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with our Tier 1 and Tier 2 Aerospace OEM customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain strong customer relationships with key accounts and ensure open communication links are always maintained.
  • Act as the internal 'Voice of the Customer' for all customer and commercial related issues.
  • Key account and contract management, including contractual compliance, business development, and working with the senior team to expedite solutions and maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Planning function to effectively communicate any supply issues to our customers, ensuring conformity to contract performance measures and reporting regular updates to the executive team.
  • Manage, quote, and close customer enquiries strictly in line with company policy, as well as the regular reporting of KPIs, tracking to budget and forecasts, and other commercial information as and when required.
  • Represent the company at customer review meetings and coordinate resultant actions across the organisation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years prior account management experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers at an executive level.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated organisational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Advanced computer skills with experience in using the Microsoft Office Suite of products, particularly outstanding skills in Excel.
  • Confident with the ability to lead.
