Inside Sales Business Development Specialist

Cranleigh STEM, Sustainability & SHEQ Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Business Development Specialist to drive business growth in the UK and German territories.

As a key member of our Sales Operation Team, you will play a crucial role in expanding our direct business in both Germany and the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and generate revenue from a specific account base, working closely with Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) in these regions.
  • Collaborate with TSMs to understand customer needs and develop sales strategies.
  • Partner with TSM and Regional Sales Manager (RSM) teams to overcome obstacles and secure new business.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold-calling, lead follow-up, and outbound communications.
  • Expand the database of prospects within the territory.
  • Work with TSMs to develop a strong sales pipeline and close deals.
  • Drive profitable sales growth to meet targets.
  • Occasionally conduct online product demonstrations as required.
  • Regularly use and update the CRM platform to manage territory information.
  • Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and relevant legal requirements.
Requirements:
  • Fluent in English (essential).
  • Fluent in German (highly desirable).
  • Bachelor's Degree in business management, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales.
  • Experience in the food & beverage or life sciences market is preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Proficiency in sales negotiation.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong phone presence with experience in high-volume calling.
  • Experience using Dynamic CRM.
