Position Overview

The Finance & Accounting (F&A) team encompasses various functions including Financial Control, Business Performance Management, Procurement, Digital Transformation, Tax, Treasury, and Operations. Our mission is to enhance global finance initiatives while maintaining a detail-oriented approach and effectively managing multiple exciting project scopes.

We are in search of a dedicated Treasury professional who is always on the lookout for innovative methods to optimize and scale operations with precision. This individual contributor role is integral to our Global Treasury team, focusing on ensuring strong local liquidity management and upholding the highest standards of regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and nurture relationships with local banking partners to guarantee efficient banking operations and services.
  • Prepare and oversee liquidity forecasts and budget calculations to ensure optimal liquidity management supporting business operations.
  • Manage daily cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs and strategic initiatives.
  • Execute foreign exchange and digital asset to fiat transactions necessary for market risk management.
  • Compile and present regular treasury reports to senior management, offering insights into liquidity status and financial health.
  • Stay informed on local regulatory requirements concerning treasury operations and ensure complete compliance.
  • Implement and oversee safeguarding measures for assets, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with the Group Treasury Team on global initiatives, including risk and capital management, policy development, cash projection, and overall liquidity strategy.
  • Supervise the preparation and maintenance of operating budgets, local accounting, and reconciliation processes.
  • Work alongside other Finance colleagues to ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with relevant financial regulations.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of all required client money reports, financial statements, tax returns, and various regulatory reports.
  • Partner with senior management to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist with Treasury technology initiatives and participate in ad hoc projects as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Ideally, 6+ years of treasury experience within the financial services sector, particularly in regulated environments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cash flow management, liquidity management, and accounting practices relevant to the UK market.
  • In-depth knowledge of the regulatory landscape and compliance requirements pertinent to financial institutions operating in the UK.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated, and capable of thriving under pressure.
  • Robust work ethic with the ability to be productive and successful in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the capacity to identify issues and propose solutions to complex or non-standard situations.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and SQL (or equivalent).
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACA, ACCA) will be considered advantageous.
  • Familiarity with digital assets is a plus.
