About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Treasury Manager to join our team at Vermelorpo. As a key member of our Group Treasury Function, you will play a critical role in delivering large strategic initiatives and supporting the Head of Treasury in driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Initiatives: Lead and take ownership for the delivery of strategic initiatives, working closely with the Head of Treasury and a small team of Treasury professionals.
  • Group Treasury Function: Grow the Group Treasury's capabilities to enable it to effectively service the group's Treasury requirements in an efficient and robust manner.
  • Debt Facilities: Manage debt funding facilities in line with legal parameters, ensuring compliance and optimal utilization.
  • Liquidity Management: Oversee short-term and medium-term liquidity management, ensuring adequate cash flows and minimizing risk.
  • Market Risk Management: Develop and implement effective market risk management strategies, including forecasting, hedging, and reporting.
  • Group Investment Portfolio: Manage the group's investment portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and optimal returns.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, advisors, and external legal counsel.
  • Treasury Policies and Procedures: Evolve and maintain Treasury policies, standards, structures, procedures, and controls, ensuring compliance and best practices.
Requirements
  • Strong Technical and Commercial Treasury Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior Treasury role, with a strong understanding of Treasury and finance principles.
  • Leadership and Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to lead and manage teams, as well as effectively communicate with senior stakeholders on technical topics.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, with a focus on driving business growth and improving financial performance.
