About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Officer to join our team in the Special Care and Community Dental Service in Allerdale and Copeland. As a key member of our team, you will provide routine dental care to patients with specific requirements, using behavioral techniques, conscious sedation, or general anesthesia if within your competencies.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide dental care to patients with specific requirements, including those with behavioral challenges, using evidence-based techniques and interventions.
- Liaise with social and healthcare personnel to ensure effective management and delivery of care to patients with specific requirements.
- Deliver a domiciliary dental service to patients who require it, ensuring timely and effective care in a variety of settings.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of care to patients, including those with complex needs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvements, ensuring high-quality care for all patients.
