Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team in Croydon CAMHS. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to children and young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Provide diagnostic clarification, risk assessment, and medication suitability for children and young people.
- Consult to care coordinators and other non-CAMHS practitioners.
- Develop and lead outpatient/community CAMHS psychiatric care.
- Participate in audit and quality improvement projects.
- Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement.
- Membership or Fellowship of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
- Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management.
- Experience in other relevant specialties such as inpatient psychiatry.
- Trained in ADI and ADOS.
- Training in investigation of complaints and SIs.
- Experience of providing consultation to non-CAMHS practitioners.
