About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team in Croydon CAMHS. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to children and young people with complex mental health needs.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in child and adolescent psychiatry, with experience in assessing and managing complex co-morbidities. You will be an excellent communicator, able to work effectively with children, young people, and their families, as well as with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to children and young people with complex mental health needs
  • Assess and manage complex co-morbidities
  • Work effectively with children, young people, and their families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Contribute to the development of our service and participate in audit and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Full GMC Registration with a License to Practice
  • MRCPsych or Equivalent
  • Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status
  • Experience in Outpatient/Community Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Experience of assessing and managing complex co-morbidities
