Our client, a leading Biotechnology company in Cambridge, is seeking an experienced Molecular Biologist to join their research and development team.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct R&D projects to enhance new and existing products in the product portfolio.
- Manage project timelines, troubleshoot, and develop processes to ensure efficiency.
- Execute experiments, analyze results, and present findings.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant scientific and technical advancements.
- Facilitate communication between the R&D team and other departments.
- Ensure adherence to quality management systems, Health & Safety practices, and ISO accreditations.
- Provide technical expertise and training to team members.
- Prior experience in independent research projects and commercial product development.
- Experience with IVD molecular biology products.
- Strong technical skills in molecular biology techniques, including PCR, DNA extraction, and FISH.
- Knowledge of histology, cyto-genetics, and microbiological expression.
- Experience working to ISO13485 and ISO 9001.
