We are seeking a highly skilled Lab Scientist to join our team at Taylorollinson Ltd. The successful candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology and experience in gene therapy and gene editing projects.
The OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Scientist to take the next step in their career. As a Lab Scientist within our molecular biology team, you will be responsible for:
- Working on a range of molecular biology projects relating to gene therapy and gene editing.
- Keeping a comprehensive and up-to-date record of experiments and data/results.
- Planning, refining, and completing experiments that align with overall project plans.
- Attending departmental meetings and training sessions.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A BSc/MSc in a biological discipline and experience in molecular cloning (Gibson, Golden Gate, HiFi, etc).
- Experience in E.coli culture, transformations/transfections, plasmid preparation.
- Experience in gel electrophoresis and DNA/RNA quantification.
- Prior industry experience in a molecular biology role.
- Experience in Primer and Sequence Design.
- Experience in troubleshooting and developing laboratory protocols.
