About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist 2 to join our Bioproduction R&D team at Revvity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the development of innovative products to enhance our Bioproduction portfolio, with an initial focus on the CHOSOURCE Expression platform. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cell culture and molecular biology, with expertise in gene editing technologies and cell line engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, plan, and execute research projects with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data in context of the wider project.
  • Contribute to the development of new offerings and influence research strategy of the department.
  • Execute and deliver customer projects according to project timeline, following Standard Operating Procedures and recording experiment and project information in relevant documents.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team and across Revvity teams to achieve project goals.
  • Record and maintain up-to-date laboratory lab books, and prepare appropriate documentation, such as Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Communicate data in a clear and concise manner at internal and external meetings.
Requirements:
  • Master of Science degree in life sciences or PhD in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Strong expertise in cell culture and molecular biology skills, including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, and ddPCR.
  • Knowledge of Cell Line Development for mammalian cell lines.
  • Previous experience in gene editing technologies and cell line engineering, and/or experience with leading client projects would be a plus.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail leading to reliable results, and a can-do attitude.
  • Has scientific curiosity and proactively develops knowledge.
Desirable Requirements:
  • Practical knowledge of bioreactors.
  • Previous experience in cell and gene therapy field.
  • Experience working within an environment to GLP or cGMP.
