Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Rehabilitation Support Worker to join our team at the Neuro Rehabilitation Centre at Goole. Our centre provides specialist rehabilitation services for adults with acquired brain injury and other neurological conditions. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients to achieve their full potential.

Main Duties of the Job

As a Rehabilitation Support Worker, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide individualized support to our patients, ensuring they receive the best possible care. Your duties will include:

  • Providing emotional support and encouragement to patients
  • Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Supporting patients with their rehabilitation goals, such as mobility and communication
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • NVQ 2 or working towards
  • Experience of working in a hospital environment
  • Desirable criteria: experience of working with patients with brain injuries/neurological conditions
