Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Rehabilitation Support Worker to join our team at the Neuro Rehabilitation Centre at Goole. Our centre provides specialist rehabilitation services for adults with acquired brain injury and other neurological conditions. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients to achieve their full potential.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

As a Rehabilitation Support Worker, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide individualized support to our patients, promoting their independence and enabling them to participate in and contribute to their local community.

Education and Qualifications

Essential Criteria

  • NVQ 2 or working towards

Occupational Experience

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience of working as a Key Worker
  • Experience of working with challenging behaviours
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working within a hospital environment
  • Previous experience of working with patients with brain injuries/neurological conditions
