We are seeking an experienced and accomplished senior leader to join our team at Star Academies as a Strategic Improvement Lead. This is a key role that will play a crucial part in driving school improvement through the effective implementation of our Results Strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the implementation of our Results Strategy to ensure that leaders in community schools make effective use of assessment, plan and deliver timely intervention, and meet the needs of their pupils.
- Work proactively in partnership with trust colleagues, school leaders, and external partners to plan and deliver effective intervention programmes.
- Analyse school and subject level data to identify gaps and develop a strategy for improvement.
- Use instructional coaching to support school leaders' implementation of our assessment, recording, and reporting policy.
- Lead and manage the trust's improvement leads to boost outcomes in their subjects.
- Credibility as an experienced and successful secondary school senior leader with a demonstrable track record of success, particularly regarding pupil outcomes.
- Ability to analyse school and subject level data to identify gaps and develop a strategy for improvement.
- Ability to work proactively in partnership with trust colleagues, school leaders, and external partners to plan and deliver effective intervention programmes.
- Detailed knowledge of national assessment and reporting requirements.
