Role Summary:

We are in search of a proficient Commercial Operations Manager to join our team for a significant project within the public sector. This essential position entails the oversight and management of intricate contracts, ensuring optimal service delivery, conducting quality assurance, and nurturing stakeholder relationships. The Commercial Operations Manager will be instrumental in navigating complex contractual frameworks and ensuring the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and sustain productive relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contract Oversight: Manage and supervise large-scale contracts, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of public sector agreements.
  • Negotiation & Sourcing: Partner with commercial teams to establish and execute negotiation strategies and sourcing processes. Create new service specifications and oversee the complete sourcing cycle.
  • Service Implementation: Lead the implementation of new contracts, ensuring a smooth transition and operational readiness.
  • Operational Oversight: Direct the daily operations of the contract, ensuring adherence to agreed terms and the delivery of superior services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in cultivating effective client relationships and conducting negotiations independently.
  • Expertise in managing large and complex contracts within a structured organization.
  • Thorough understanding of public sector contracts and sourcing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to influence and negotiate across various levels.

Educational Background:

  • Relevant degree or professional certification in contract management, procurement, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in a comparable role within the public sector.
