Acute Care Specialist CNS

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse to join our Critical Care Outreach team as a Critical Care Outreach Practitioner CNS Band 7. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team, leading on delivering high standards of care to acutely unwell patients across our site.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate as an integral member of the Multidisciplinary Team to provide safe and effective care in ward areas.
- Recognise and respond to acutely ill and deteriorating patients, ensuring timely interventions by the most appropriate member of the healthcare team.
- Respond to clinical emergencies as they arise.
- Teach and assess clinical skills in practice as opportunities arise.
- Act as a professional role model for acute care.
- Audit patient outcomes and service delivery, working collaboratively with other key personnel to introduce change for service improvement.
- Relevant Acute/Critical Care Experience
- Leadership and shift leading experience
- Change management experience
- RN BSc
- Recognised Critical Care or relevant Acute Care Course
- Clinical Reasoning Advanced Patient Assessment Course
- MSc
- Non-Medical Prescribing Course
- Advanced Patient Assessment and Critical Thinking Skills
- Established Team/Shift Leading Skills
- Collaborative MDT Working
- Record of Teaching and Assessing Clinical Practice
- Excellent Communication Skills
